At the firm, we realize the importance of advancing women to meet their highest potential and that is one reason why we created our women’s initiative, Women Count almost five years ago.

At LGC&D we take a holistic approach to business and like to think of ourselves as ”primary care advisors” to our clients and community networks.

We are business advisors, sounding boards, referral sources and friends to our established networks. At the core of our Women Count initiative is the passion for building trusted relationships and getting to know the women in the community. In the process, we offer help and guidance in many areas, we share our experience and expertise and connect women with our established network of numerous resources in order to continue their growth and success.

Martha Hultzman, a founding member of the firm’s Women’s initiative is excited to share her experience and expertise with conference attendees about Myths and Realities of Writing a Business Plan.

For more information please visit the LGC & D website.

A warm welcome to our blog and social community.

Welcome to the blog of Emerging Women in Business!

An organization such as EWIB is an invaluable resource for both fledgling and seasoned women entrepreneurs. The yearly conference (occurring again April 22, 2010) is just one example of how EWIB provides businesswomen professional development, networking opportunities, as well as the opportunity to become a part of a support network.

Starting this year, EWIB is adopting social communities to not only extend its impact, but to also set the example for women entrepreneurs wondering if ‘social media’ is right for their business.

This blog will serve as one way we are providing a dynamic forum for information pertinent to your needs. Many of the authors will be speakers at the 2010 conference, while others are established and recognized experts in the local and regional business communities.

However, this blog is only one part of our online communities, as we now have a Facebook fan page. So, if you are on Facebook, please click here to become a fan and participate in yet another forum for conversation and networking.

Again, welcome to the EWIB blog. We look forward to hearing your needs and opinions.

So please, feel free to share, as well as comment on these articles.

Warm Regards,
